COMPUTERS AND SOFTWARES ARE A LOTTA HELP NOWADAYS.WELL I THOUGHT WHY NOT TO INCORPORATE THE LATEST (WHY TO BE LEFT BEHIND !!!!!! )

DOES ANYBODY KNOWS ABOUT SOFTWARE THAT WILL HELP ME IN MY PRE OPERATIVE PLANNING .LIKE XRAYS/CT SCAN I CAN FEED IN COMPUTER AND I CAN GET A 3 DIMENSIONAL VIEW OF FRACTURES AND ALSO I CAN ALSO CHECK THE SUITABILITY OF VARIOUS IMPLANTS ON THE COMPUTER.

--IN INDIA (AND I THINK IN THE REST OF THE WORLD ALSO !!!!)TILL NOW CT SCAN OF EVERY PATIENT HAVING A TRAUMA OR FRACTURE OF BONES IS NOT POSSIBLE(A LOTTA FACTORS LIKE COST BEING ONE OF THEM IS INVOLVED IN IT), SO X RAYS ARE THE ONLY MASS MEANS IN CASE OF FRACTURE MANAGEMENT. IS THEIR ANY SOFTWARE WHICH UTILISES `X-RAYS`FOR NOT MAYBE 100% BUT YES A FAIRLY ACCURATE PICTURE OF THE FRACTURE PROFILE IN BOTH ANTERIO POSTERIOR AND LATERAL PLANES.?

--- I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER THERE ARE ANY SOFTWARES FOR COMPUTERISED SIMULATION TESTING OF ORTHOPAEDIC IMPLANTS ?

---- SUPPOSE IF WE HAVE A NEW IMPLANT DESIGN IN MIND WHICH WE WANT TO DEVELOP /TEST. ARE THEIR ANY PEOPLE/COMPUTERS/SOFTWARES WHICH CAN HELP IN THAT??

Hello Mystic Doc,
I am Jesse in Seattle Washington - Do you or the hospital actually use the Orthodoc robotic surgeon or did you pick the name by simple application? I have been an investor in their struggling company for 15 years, (ISS systems)and I really wonder about the practical application of such a machine. You seem to be the right kind of person to ask. Is this thing just a gimick or do you think it really works?Their company recently restarted US operations and the stock is about as low as it could go. 4 cents. RDOC http://www.robodoc.com/eng/products.html PS: my wife is a country girl from the northern Philippines, which makes her moral, frugal, practical and hard working, compared to vain, self centered young US women. I hope your marriage is a blessing.
